Thursday rears its ugly post-hump day draconian noggin, belching fire and shrieking "Play this week's quiz or all your virgins are belong to us!" I know it's tough, if you are in the humid depths of summer or the frigid blasts of winter. The environment, the weather, aye, Mother Nature herself conspires against us all. But you must surmount those grim obstacles and quiz away, or else some unspeakable horror will smite you. Something hideous, insidious, quite perfidious! Something like...

Start drinking heavily. If you're leagal. If not, hold your breath for as long as you can, getting really really light headed. Then read the question, writing down the first thing that you think of.

The theme is irrelevant. All you need is your keyboard and some stream of consciousness. Contemplate the questions. Gaze deeply into your soul, searching for some distant link to that which the question ponders, or for a mental leap of logic that connects the question with some deeper fundamental truth that you are aware of. Gaze in awe at the majesty before you. Then write it all down, preferably in the style of Henry David Thoreau.

Barring that, eat a pudding, have a drink, and bang on the keyboard a bit until something comes out that looks good.
