Eleven months of quizzing brings us, as we mentioned, to the 1000 watcher mark. Surprisingly, when we started this so long ago, I was saying "Well, we're staring with 30 people. If it grows to a hundred, I think that'll be pretty good. We might even hit two hundred if we're lucky."

Boy was I wrong.

As always, it's nice to see so many interested folks, and it's our pleasure to provide a new quiz every week. It'll also be our pleasure to host the LJDQ Pub Crawl next month, on July 15th or 16th in San Francisco and July 16th in New York City. And by "host" we mean "We'll be in these two cities, but you can be anywhere you want to be to toast. Or drink. Or both. But it'd be nice if you came to see us, because we're full of love for all of you."

In the meanwhile, I also have gotten my Primal Hunger back. Today's snack food:
Like a hot dog, with more legs and hair. Unless it's a New York City hot dog, in which case it's just more legs.

You know you want some. So eat up, and play, and tell your friends!

I think ferret would taste sort of greasy and maybe a bit rank. But I'm willing to give it a shot. Maybe that should be the LJDQ pre-party. Or maybe the after party, when drinking beers has made eating a pet sound slightly more appealing.

Very gamey, yes. Although with a nice vindaloo sauce, you'd never know.

Ferret curry. You like spicy food, right [livejournal.com profile] chaosvizier?

Oooh. I like curry, at least, and that sounds mighty tasty!

But is there enough good meat on a ferret? They're all fur and bone and springs...

You know, it might go well in some sort of Brunswick Stew concoction. The original recipe used anything poor white trash Southerners could catch. Just because ferret isn't native to the American South is no reason not to have a Brunswick Stew revolution. I'll go find my great-grandmother's recipe and get back to you. ;-)
