Eleven months of quizzing brings us, as we mentioned, to the 1000 watcher mark. Surprisingly, when we started this so long ago, I was saying "Well, we're staring with 30 people. If it grows to a hundred, I think that'll be pretty good. We might even hit two hundred if we're lucky."

Boy was I wrong.

As always, it's nice to see so many interested folks, and it's our pleasure to provide a new quiz every week. It'll also be our pleasure to host the LJDQ Pub Crawl next month, on July 15th or 16th in San Francisco and July 16th in New York City. And by "host" we mean "We'll be in these two cities, but you can be anywhere you want to be to toast. Or drink. Or both. But it'd be nice if you came to see us, because we're full of love for all of you."

In the meanwhile, I also have gotten my Primal Hunger back. Today's snack food:
Like a hot dog, with more legs and hair. Unless it's a New York City hot dog, in which case it's just more legs.

You know you want some. So eat up, and play, and tell your friends!

FERRET! I had two. Cutest pets ever. They terrified my cats. Chased my dogs. They know NO FEAR. I love ferrets.

Your choice of a small rodent for a snack food reminds me of how I've always wanted a python. I'm pretty sure that wasn't the intended effect, but then my answers were in days ago.

Aww... but look at the cute little pink nose! And the tiny little feet! And... okay, so they're not the best behaved animals ever. It's a pain in the ass to keep them clean and their nails trimmed. Still, mine were to spoiled to even consider cooking.

Aw, I was right. I'll be away the day of the pub crawl. Or, at least, probably. At any rate, if I'm not away, I'll be travelling all day and that doesn't make for anything more productive than a coma at night.

Also... new Harry Potter that day.

I have three! And I LOVE them! They are the most entertaining pets I've ever had...Destructive only if the house is not properly 'ferret-proofed'...I will admit, its like having two year olds running lose, but once their living space is child/ferret proofed, its hard for them to get into trouble. Don't eat the weazows!

The boa didn't try to eat the ferret and vice versa? They are arch enemies in the wild!

Were my answers *that* bad?

Be honest - how many times did you threaten the ferret with the rapid onset of feeding time?

I think ferret would taste sort of greasy and maybe a bit rank. But I'm willing to give it a shot. Maybe that should be the LJDQ pre-party. Or maybe the after party, when drinking beers has made eating a pet sound slightly more appealing.

I'd pet the ferret, but I might lose a finger. Or two. Demon Llama! Ferret!

And am I mistaken that there was a lizard in the house too? Or am I mixing up stories?

Hmmm. Personally, as rodentia go, there are better ones, but for larger birds...

Anyways. *off to submit answers*

Very gamey, yes. Although with a nice vindaloo sauce, you'd never know.

Ferret curry. You like spicy food, right [livejournal.com profile] chaosvizier?

Oooh. I like curry, at least, and that sounds mighty tasty!

But is there enough good meat on a ferret? They're all fur and bone and springs...

The two I had would chase my cats ALL over the house. The poor cats were so confused. They *looked* like rats, but didn't act properly frightened. No clue what to do with them.
