When the weather's hot and sticky, there's nothing better than sitting down in a nice air conditioned room sipping a fine cocktail and contemplating the answers to this week's quiz. The questions are there before you, waiting, hoping, dreaming of your commentary that will elevate them from the merely trivial to the truly comical. And we do to. So come out and play! Play like you've never played before! And if you never have played before, it's summer, the time of fun, the time of vacation, the time to do new things and dare new dares! Play, newcomers and old! Play even if it isn't summer; we're not too hemispherically discriminatory.

And in other news, [livejournal.com profile] barbarienne offered me a cute fuzzy animal to eat, so... yum.
Bunnies AND Diamonds? How yummy can this be?

Go play! The time is now! The place is here! Hurry!

Three weeks to San Diego Comic-Con...soooooo looking forward to getting my geek on. Woo hoo!!! Goin' to see 'Superman Returns' today, too, with mah boys! Woo hoo again!

In the meantime, dredging through summer school...teaching, not learning. *sigh* At least the (alleged) pay is good.

Due to my advanced age, I am not allowed to use the phrase 'Hells yeah'. But I *can* say 'Damnnnn right!' Con so totally rocks!

Verdict from this fanboy--Good movie, fun movie, but not a great movie, and they could have done without the last half hour or so. Lots of plot holes. Routh won't make you forget Reeve, but he can potentially make a mark for himself if given a sequel. And maybe it's me, but they got Lois totally wrong. It's also fun to look for parallels between the 70s movie and this one. I'd recommend it, even for the non-comics people.

And if you ever saw the Reeve version on the big screen, they'll have you at the opening credits.

Oh my god. That's adorable...

As horrible as it is that Hans wants to make bunnies cry, I still can't help laughing.

Oh, and cute bunny, but once you skin it, bone it, and cook it up, you won't even have enough for a burger. I'm just sayin'.

Besides, everyone knows it's really Duck Season.

Be it ever so humble, there's no place like Rome. Nero: he was the emperor, and a palace was his home. But he liked to play with matches, and for a fire yearned....yearned...yearned... And for a fire yearned, so he turned Rome to ashes, and fiddled while it burned.

I'm too distracted by the Falling Sand Game (http://chir.ag/stuff/sand/) and potential porn to take the quiz right now. Fortunately, I've already taken it, so.

I have just spent half an hour growing large aggressive trees, dousing them in oil, and setting them on fire. Which isn't as sick as it sounds. That is one strange game.

"we're not too hemispherically discriminatory."

Even Weebles stand a chance of being employed by the LJDQ! If you have a hemisphere in the place of your lower limbs and jangle like a thousand catbells whenever you try to go anywhere, LJDQ might just be the equal-opportunities employer for YOU!
