LJDQ Pub Crawl: The Schedule!

Well, we can't account for every geographical location on earth, being that our Quizling community is pretty widespread, but we can tell you with absolute certainty where the two of us will be.

angledge: The San Francisco ljdq Pub Crawl will be kicking off this Friday (July 15th) at 8:00 PM. We will be starting at Ireland's 32 at 3920 Geary Blvd. From there, we will probably walk over to Clement to the Plough and Stars & the other local Irish pubs. Also, you might be interested to know that LJ's founder, brad Fitzpatrick, is planning on being there... NO I DID NOT MAKE THAT UP.

chaosvizier: The New York City ljdq Pub Crawl will be kicking off this Friday (July 15th) at 8:00 PM as well. We will be starting at The Fat Black Pussycat at the corner of 3rd St. and 6th Ave (take the ACE/BDFV subway to the West 4th Street stop and get out on the southernmost exit; the pub is about fifty feet away, marked with a bright blue neon sign). From there, we will probably crawl to any number of places nearby, unless we get stuck in their nice comfy sofas.

Um, can you give me an idea of what drinks will cost, I don't go out drinking normally (or ever in fact) and don't want to have anything but cash on me to prevent me going broke.

*grumble* Having to be up at 6am on the 16th so I can start work at 8:30am rules out a pub crawl with any other Melbournites I could round up. I think I'll just buy a few bottles of absinthe and vodka mudslides and take them to roleplaying with me instead. Then I believe I shall plan a pub crawl for Sunday, to make up for not being able to have it Friday. So what if I have class the next day? It's not until 10....

Any others in Melbourne, Australia interested in a pub crawl on Sunday? (whether or not you miss Friday's...if you don't miss it, you could go on two pub crawls in one weekend ^_^)

We had a nice group show up for the SF pub crawl. While we only hit two pubs, we drank plenty in those two, & had some good conversation besides. Thanks to everyone who showed up!
