Ice! It's what it's all about. Even if it's not really very seasonable right at this moment, unless you happen to live in Antarctica or Siberia or Canadia, it's still good. Icy good. No, wait, that doesn't make any sense. It's Icy Hot. No wait, that's trademarked. Oh well. Might as well just sing like you've all been singing already: ICE ICE BABY! Doo doo doo-de-doo doo-de-doo doo!

Ok, enough of that. Thanks for playing, as always, and we hope to see you all here again tomorrow as we begin our September Spectacular Super Sized Special Session! Don't miss it! It's fanfriggingtastic!

Rock On!

Three, a groupthink, and a +1(!). For some reason I never thought of "The Iceman Cometh", or you would've gotten a lame X-Men joke instead. (Seriously, I'm sure they used that at least once, probably for his origin story.)

My wife got me into Dean (R.) Koontz when we started dating, but I haven't read too many of later ones, except the Odd novels, which tend to be pretty good.

Dean Koontz is still a good writer, except that other than the Odd novels, all of his books start off as though they might have supernatural or alien themes, but then God is responsible, teaching people a lesson.
On the other hand, Stephen King's novels start off as though the supernatural or god is responsible, then turn out to be about aliens.
Unfortunately when I start reading an author's work, I have to continue reading everything they are responsible for (even if it is terrible).

Did you know that George Lucas and Chris Claremont wrote three sequel novels for "Willow"? This is what you need to know:

Madmartigan and Sorsha die in a fire after the first chapter, Willow changes his name to Thorn, works out and becomes a bad-ass wizard, and the baby Elora grows up to become a silver-skinned teenage rock-star warrior princess. Basically Silver Surfer meets Xena meets Jem. Truly outrageous.
