I love the Easter Season. Over here in the USA, it is the one time of year that they sell those marvelous concoctions known as Cadbury's Creme Eggs. They sell them all the time in the UK and other places, but here we have to wait for these precious six weeks before Easter. I love those eggs. So sweet and chocolatey, and so excessively full of sugar that diabetics go into shock walking past them in a supermarket. I need one right now.

What does this have to do with anything? Nothing at all. It's merely Wednesday, which means Quiz Reminder Day. This week's Quiz is still out there, and if you don't go and play, the Easter Bunny won't leave you any Easter goodies. Unless you don't do the Easter thing, in which case, play anyway, or I'll eat a cute bunny.

Also, again, remember that next week we implement (dun dun DUUUUNNNN) the [livejournal.com profile] ljdq Schedule Change, posting quizzes on Tuesday and answers on the following Monday. Just in case you forgot.

And, on the subject of bunnies, here's The Exorcist reenacted by rabbits. If ever there was a movie that screamed "Easter Season", this would be it.

In actual fact they do NOT necessarily sell them all through the year here... Mr Cadbury makes them between xmas and easter so any left over unsold may be available but they are not fresh... and funnily enough creme eggs DO actually become stale!!

I too love the Creme Egg - that noble confection has saved me from hypoglycemia on many an occasion and probably helped divert hangovers too... mini's are just too edible also - yum yum

Crikey only a few more weeks of the fresh egg season left - better have another, i only had one for breakfast today :)

Damn, if I weren't a vegetarian, I could earn myself a shitload of money. I don't suppose it'd have the same effect if I threaten to eat a bunch of carrots, would it?

God yes. I don't like the creme, but there's nothing I won't do for one of the caramel ones.

I would just like to take a moment to gloat about the fact that I have nearly a dozen of those fantastic artery-clogging confections in my cupboard right now. It's about breakfast time, I wonder if I could scramble one.

Am I going to be lynched if I admit I don't like Cadbury Creme Eggs? Or indeed any Cadbury chocolate at all?

(In my defense, I'm Belgian, so I'm ridiculously picky about my chocolate. I've barely had any since moving to Scotland because of this. It's been a lesson in not taking things for granted. *craves*)

i don't like them either; they're too sugary-sweet and not chocolatey enough. i'm a 100% dark chocolate kind of girl.

I prefer milk chocolate (dark chocolate makes my acne even worse than it already is), but I like just chocolate, none of this fancy filled crap.

I think it must be an acquired taste. I've tried chocolates from around Europe and think they taste chalky. Hmm. Maybe a chocolate tasting party would be a good thing. Thanks for the idea.

It's not shocking that you're particular about chocolate; we had a Norweigan exchange student here and she had a vendetta against Hersheys. Which really is crap chocolate, but it's still chocolate and so I'm still happy. Before she went back to Norway I bought her a massive hunk of Ghirardelli chocolate, which is the goooood American chocolate.

It's okay to be picky. Personally, I don't like Hershey's - from memory, it was too bitter and not milky enough. And I hate it when my chocolate has anything else in it - nuts, fruit, honeycomb, mint, you name it. I just like my plain chocolate. Chilled in the fridge.

Although I do love Swiss chocolate. Lindt chocolates are my favorite chocolates on the planet. You could tie one to a string and make me draw carts, like a mule.

They sell them all through the year here, oh yes, they do. So if you need any posted -- just let me know. I am t3h pimp.

I am. There are these little things they used to call candy cigarettes, but aren't allowed to anymore because of the PC police, so call Spaceman Candy Sticks, and I have a whole carton, and it's excessive but glorious, and my friends love me for the pimping out of candy cigarettes.

Because they're not allowed to smoke real cigarettes indoors at university anymore.

*snicker*

I mean, uh, sympathy. Yeah. Sympathy.

There used to be gum cigarettes when I was younger (they still might exist, I just haven't seen them in awhile) and there was one kind that had extra sugar on the gum, so you could pretend to smoke the cigarettes and have the sugar look like smoke. Those were fun.

Speaking of Cadbury Creme Eggs, I discovered a new and really dangerous way of eating them while reading "True Porn" vol. 1. All I have to say is that there are some things the female genitalia were not made for.

Nope, I don't like those either. But gosh, you guys must wait until EASTER until you can have Cadbury goodness? You poor bastards.

On the other hand, good luck finding Hershey here in OZ. You can only find the stuff in candy stores, which are rare.
