Wednesday pokes its head through the covers and thinks, "Jebus, will this week never end?"

No, it won't, but playing the quiz might help it move along at a better pace. Yes indeed, the quiz is still there, inviting all of you to reach new heights of wisdom and wit and wonderment. Young and old, new and veteran, no one is unqualified to participate!

As a bonus tidbit this week, we tip our hats to our progenitor, Dave George, who, as our info page tells, founded the Daily Quiz so many years ago and stopped to pursue a career in stand-up comedy. His career is alive and kicking, and those of you in the New York, New Jersey, or Las Vegas areas might want to check him out as he'll be performing there in the near future. Of course the quiz is evil. It wouldn't be fun if it weren't. But revolution isn't always the answer. Just because it happened to work for the USA so long ago doesn't mean it's a surefire recipe for success. We think you can do it. We believe in you.

Okay, I'm doing too much this week and getting far too little sleep.

Is there a way you can check to see if I submitted answers? I think I did but I honestly can't recall.

And is there a way I can do this myself in the future if need be, to save myself the public humiliation of showing my forgetfulness?

Thanks, can't remember where I stole it from.

And I could *build* a freakin' buffet with all this snow. There'd be the table, the dishes, little snow entrees of foods you would never actually order - carrot salad, sweet and sour meatballs, chicken fingers. And salt. Lots of road salt.

But then you couldn't enjoy it because the roads are crap and oh, it's snowing again.
