My Thursday went by in a blur of temporal shifting. Flying east is like using a cheap homemade TARDIS- you kinda sorta travel through time at a speed kinda faster than normal time. Kinda. Only you don't have a stupid scarf or an annoying sidekick.

I remember when I was covering the Packers, I loved flying West - more time when I got there to have fun - while flying East took all day.

Flying to America - Leave at 11:20 am Tuesday. Arrive 11:30 am Tuesday. Mind explodes.

Flying back to Australia - Leave at 3pm Monday. Arrive 10:00 am WEDNESDAY. Mind explodes again, but mostly due to going from 40 farenheit to 40 celcius.

It was obvious to me that you were just too busy trying to build sand castles in the desert to bother posting a reminder! I can just imagine what the scene was like:

Chaosvizier: "Guys! Guys! Check this out! It's like... the BIGGEST BEACH EVAH! We could totally build the greatest sand castle in history! With a moat even! And once it's built we can all join hands and dance around it singing "Fortress Around Your Heart"! It'll be wicked cool!"

However: Sand castles need moist beach sand to be built, not that dry cat litter you're in now, AND, let's face it, "Fortress Around Your Heart" (while a good song) is a strange song to be singing around a sand castle.

I bet you spent the whole attempting and failing to build that castle. You're persistent, I'll give you that!
