Lucky that it's not Friday the Thirteenth, mostly, but also lucky because there's still time for everyone to strap on their funny boots and play this week's quizly offering. Play! Do it! You should go ride a camel through the desert, cuz that's always fun and people have to do it at least once while they're there. When I went traveling in the area while I was living in the Middle East, we took this bus ride out to the middle of the desert in the evening, where they had set up bedouin tents and we sat around in a big circle, had really great food and were entertained by belly dancers. The food was amazing, but something tells me you'll like the dancers better.
The only thing you need to know is that the really fun and cultural stuff happens outside of the city. Hope that helped!
