And, for those of you who are saying "what holiday", well, it's oodles of stuff. Really, mostly Easter, because Passover (which is usually around this time but not this year because of Hebrew Leap Month; you'd think I'd have learned from the quiz two weeks ago) doesn't have a cute animal associated with it. If Passover came with chocolate bunnies, I think more people would dig it. But I digress.

The point is, chocolate bunnies are cool. These things, however, are an abomination:

I suppose Nemo was kinda cute. At least, if you were 6. And, uh, maybe Flounder, from "The Little Mermaid". Even though I don't think he was a flounder. Dolphins are cute, but they're not fish, they're mammals. Ummm... maybe stingrays? sharks? They can be cute...ish.

fizrep once purchased a bottle of "Jerusalem Gold" beet wine because, hey, that's different, and kosher, all in one. How neat, he said. How unusual, I said. Let's pour, we said. Let's drink, we said. SSSPPPPPFFFFFFFTTTTTTAAAAARRRGHGGHGH, we exclaimed.

I find the Jews, an admittedly old and cultured people, to have not fully mastered the fine art of drinking. ;-)

At the radio station this week, our Question of the Week is "Are marshmallow Peeps disgusting? Yes or no?" When I did my news for today, I asked that question, then talked a little bit about Peep jousting in the microwave, which I've never tried by sounds like as good a purpose as any. I mean, no way would I EAT the little buggers.
