It's not THAT expensive, really -- Turkey is pretty reasonable, and offers a lot for your money. Sure, not exactly CHEAP, but ... Those 10 days set me back a little over $1000 during off-season; I couldn't afford it during summer. (It's also only a 3-hour flight from Germany :D.)
