Ah...comic/comic based character. I come from Backwater Lane, The Sticks, Countryside, England. If I'd grown up with a comic book shop in the local area then I might have had the best childhood ever.

Alas, I did not and my knowledge on comics and comic based characters is shockingly poor.

The guy who plays General Zod would still make a great Vetinari, though! (At least I had Pratchett in my local shops or I may as well have never left the womb)

Your assignment this weekend: Get thee hence to a purveyor of fine Videos/DVDs and rent yourself "Superman II". Truly a highlight of 80's cinema, featuring Christopher Reeve as The One True Superman and Terence Stamp as General Zod.

Come to think of it, rent and watch Superman I first. That would help.

(They do have videos and DVDs in England, right? ;-) )
