May is dead; long live June!

The warmth of summer is here, and it is... warm. But more heartwarming is the presence of my wonderful co-mod angledge during her whirlwind tour of the east coast. Our reunion could only be celebrated at one place: Rice to Riches, a store in lower Manhattan that sells naught but Rice Pudding in many glorious flavors.

She is an evil guest, however, and did attempt to steal my pudding. Cheeky woman!


But in the end we reached harmonious agreement and divided the pudding along properly established boundaries.


Of course, all of you are not as much interested in our reunion as you are interested in taking this week's quizly goodness, in case you haven't already. So go! Let our pudding-eating ways encourage you to... uh... take the quiz. And then eat pudding.

Great, after reading the sign in the background of your pics, I now have Eddie Mekka as Carmine from 'Laverne and Shirley' in my head, belting our 'He'll never go from raaaags to richhhesssss!' Thanks ever so. Could be worse, I guess.

Rice and bread puddings are always good...especially warm, with cinnamon and raisins, and served by a mom or mom-type figure whenever possible.

Not a fan of the other types of pudding, though...I have an aversion to foods that develop skin. *shudder* And thin crust pizza with extra cheese remains the perfect food.

My quant little college town used to have a rice pudding shop. And then it closed, right before finals. It wasn't entirely unexpected because everytime I went there, I was the only person in the place, but their timing was awful.
