Hell, I don't know what that means. But that's not the point. Knowing is not always necessary for doing, we say, and that saying holds especially true for purveyors of the fine establishment known as the
ljdq. Whether or not you know the theme, or the answers, or even The Meaning Of Life, is indeed irrelevant; the main ingredient is fun! Come one, come all, new players and old! Everyone is welcome, even if you're from Pod Six! Also, we eat lots:

We drink lots too. And then we have pudding. How can you resist? So show yourself and everyone else a good time, and click here to play this week's quiz. And if you've already done so, then you're a good person, and blessings are sure to be headed in your general direction sometime soon. Most likely.

Date: 2005-09-01 09:15 am (UTC)Unfortunately, when I went there (1975-ca. 1982), it was all boring mainstream again.
However, I was a student when the feminist movement really took off; never joined a group though, because I wasn't feeling exploited/suppressed by anyone male. (You could almost get the feeling that the population was split into "men" --obvious--, "women" --those females organized in more or less militant groups-- and something else: females like me who weren't organized in one form or another.) In fact, at a Saturday morning seminar I once publicly asked a room full of male students which of THEM was going to make coffee for the group. (To the [male, liberated] professor's amusement and the horrified gasps of my fellow female students, followed by amused condescension -- and halfway decent coffee -- from the guys, I might add.)
Does that count?
