Like a team of proud atheletes representing the LiveJournal nation, the LJDQ continues forward in its quest to be The Funniest Thing On Earth. And you, yes, all of you, are part of that team, making sure that the fun goes on. It is a commendable thing that you have done.

Some of you have watched with intense curiosity these past few weeks, saying nothing but noting everything. But we see in you that spark, that fire, that burning flame that can lead you to the gold medal, if only you carpe the diem and take your turn in the LJDQ Olympiad. We want your answers. We want your tales. We want your Olympian trials and tribulations. There is a first time for everything. The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. The only thing to fear is fear itself.

So we say to you, watchers and wonderers. Play the game. Join your teammates in their determination to bring laughter to the world. Or at least to some of it. Take hold of your destiny, and make it cry uncle with your firm grip!
