FIVESIES! Fun With Lyrics, you are my Achilles hell (misspelling intended). I must be humble, though, because I'm not sure tomorrow's answers will get nearly as much quotage.

Oh, and some missing +1s...as with Whose Line Is It Anyway: The Less-Funny Drew Carey Version, the points don't matter.
For [livejournal.com profile] therealchon, (+1, Reservoir Dogs)
For [livejournal.com profile] alfvaen, (+1, Portal)
For [livejournal.com profile] thepikey and [livejournal.com profile] ntlespino, (+1, How I Met Your Mother)

This!
I wish I had never read that book about the books that pointed this out, because I had read the series three times before then and not once had I made the connection.
It's not that I was a stupid kid, it was more that the world of Narnia (and especially Aslan) was too cool to be associated with Christians and Jesus (a Handsome, Intelligent, Talking Lion vs. a Hairy Man in a Bedsheet - I know whose team I am on!).

I love that time-travel forum story thing!

Honestly, though, if I were to mess with Hitler's timeline, I don't think I could kill him. My plan would be to abduct him as a baby, and place him with a nice Jewish family.

I loved it too!
Btw:
You are almost more evil than him, you evil genius, you! It would only be just desserts though if you somehow could rub German Hitler's nose in it somehow.

Er, sorry for my first "somehow" in the above comment. Bad grammar is a sign I have eaten way too much sugar during the day (still working my way through the Easter chocolate. I bought 58 creme eggs because they're my favourite and we can't get them the rest of the year - plus all the other Easter treats - and then more chocolate from the supermarket since then, even though there's still Easter chocolate left).
Rather than let everyone know that I have no willpower against chocolate, I actually came to ask calq if the +1 I received for the My Fair Lady quote is the first +1 I have ever received. If so, w00t! What a great belated birthday present!

As of the end of 2011, you've gotten four +1s, which makes this one, at minimum, your fifth.
