LJ Daily Quiz: 21 February 2005
Feb. 21st, 2005 08:04 amToday's quiz is in honor of President's Day, which is a holiday for a small minority of lucky American workers. The rest of us can celebrate by wasting some of our employers' time by doing the Quiz on the job today.
angledge has applied some creativity to the Quiz this time around, and has provided ten questions in the following format:
Both a mountain in Alaska, and an American President.
The idea is that there is a last name that fills both descriptions. In this example, the answer is McKinley. Mount McKinley, located in Denali National Park in Alaska, is the tallest mountain in North America. William McKinley became President of the United States in 1897 and was assassinated in 1901.
Of course, we still don't really care if you know the right answers or not. Bring it on.
1. Both a brand of tennis balls, and an American President.
2. Both a luxurious Town Car, and an American President.
3. Both a gigantic dam on the Colorado River, and an American President.
4. Both a wagon driver, and an American President.
5. Both an (alleged) pedophile, and an American President.
6. Both a striped cat and an American President.
7. Both a shallow place in a river, and an American President.
